I absolutely love David’s book. I have a friend who was very ambivalent about changing her eating behavior and after reading this book she totally changed her perspective of food. “The End Of Overeating”, great great book. Thanks for the video Lon!

I think Kessler’s book is one of the most important books of the decade, as far as the health conversation goes. I think the root of the obesity problem is fundamentally a political/ethical/economic issue, in terms of the profit motive having generated a Frankensteinian monster now totally out of control. It’s very hard to fight the tide of hyper-engineered food. And unless something drastic happens, or some enlightened leadership appears, I don’t seen the trend of “conditioned hypereating” reversing in this lifetime. Perhaps something like what happened to the tobacco industry could happen.
Just trying to save “one starfish at a time” as the story goes.
